Each dial is a tiny piece of artwork. The Day-Date 36mm Platinum watch’s innate personality is derived from its color, reflections. Its surface texture as well as from decorative accents and the overall design. The creation of its dials is entirely under the internal supervision of Rolex. From the initial sketches to the final inspection, which may include coloring or the application of appliques, the process comprises a variety of stages and tasks that need for specific skills. Enameling is one of these jobs that dates back to the early days of watchmaking.
