Day-Date
Day-Date
The Day-Date was initially intended to be a priceless tool for regular usage. It was the initial water-resistant, manually wound chronometer timepiece to display. The date and the day of the week were also spelled out in full in two separate windows. At midnight, both change simultaneously. Watch lovers are still captivated by this ground-breaking transition today, some seven decades later.
Its unique design has helped to define its identity and ensure that it is recognized right away. At the time of its debut, the Day-Date was the only watch featuring a semi-circular window at 12 o’clock that showed the day of the week in its entirety. With its specially created President bracelet, which is exclusively offered in expensive metals like gold or platinum, it is the watch of distinction par excellence.
