The octagonal bezel is filled with 68 spessartite baguettes that are arranged in a row and have a two-fold color gradation from cognac at the 12 and 6 o’clock position to champagne at the 9 and 3 o’clock position. Spessartite baguettes with an ogive form and a cognac tint make up the hour marks on the dial. This dynamic element lends a very modern sense to this precious work.
