Graduations on the bezel display the “home” reference time in the first time zone. It is indicated by the distinctive color of the 24-hour hand. The traveler’s local time is easily set by “jumping” from hour to hour thanks to a smart mechanism controlled by the winding crown. The minute and seconds hands cannot be moved with the hour hand, just the hour hand. Travelers can do this to acclimate to their new time zone without affecting the accuracy of their timekeeping.
