Richard Mille’s involvement in the auto business is well-known. Given its passion to racing circuits, sponsoring teams, and drivers, and notably women in the sport. This edition is no exception. The RM 72-01 Flyback Chronograph Le Mans Classic commemorates the 100th running of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans event and is only available in 150 pieces.

It mimics the performance of the vehicles that race over two laps of the 13.626-kilometer Le Mans circuit. Hours, minutes, small seconds, date, flyback chronograph, function indication, and stop seconds are all included in the skeletonized movement. Automatic winding in both directions.

Case: The case is made of Quartz TPT®. Its structure consists of around 600 layers of parallel filaments manufactured from various silicon strands. These layers, which are no thicker than 45 microns, are woven with the aid of a special device that alternates the weft’s direction by 45° between layers and is submerged in either white or green resin made exclusively for Richard Mille.
