The sunray coating, which creates delicate light reflections, is present on a number of dials in the Oyster Perpetual collection. It is made using skillful brushing techniques, which result in grooves spreading out from the center of the dial. Lady-Datejust Oystersteel & Everose Gold opulent wrist watch. The dial color is applied by electroplating or physical vapor deposition once the sunray finish has been attained. The varnish’s thin coating gives the dial its final finish.
