Description
RM 74-01 Automatic Winding Tourbillon
The tourbillon in the RM 74-01, which masterfully mixes style and watchmaking science, is highlighted by the watch’s exceptionally slender lines. Skeletonized automatic-winding tourbillon movement having hours, minutes, and a rotor with changing shape. Grade 5 titanium, a biocompatible, incredibly corrosion-resistant, and astoundingly rigid metal, is used for the baseplate and bridges of the RM 74-01 Automatic Winding Tourbillon. This allows the gear train to function smoothly.
The alloy is composed of 90% grade 5 titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. This combination further improves the material’s mechanical properties, which is why it is widely utilized in the aerospace, aeronautics, and automotive industries.
